2013 is looking good for the exhibition.
First stop will be at; Foto Colectania Foundation in Barcelona, Spain. 20th February - 25 May 2013
Curated by Joan Fontcuberta it will be the first time that the show has been to Spain.

Following Barcelona the show will be at The Mornington Peninsula Reginal Gallery 26th September - 24th November 2013. I visited the gallery last week & have to say its fantastic.

Last week I was in LA for a few days & managed to get a few celebrity photos, the highlights being Tom Hanks & Reese Witherspoon, if you see the show you'll see these recent photos in the 2012 section of the exhibition.

The exhibition has been a huge success in both the UK & Australia this year.
Over 13,500 people viewed the exhibition at the Open Eye Gallery in the UK.

Then the show had to be closed down on the opening night at FotoFreo due to overcrowding.

Last week, last week.
Thats right this is the final week to see the exhibition at the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool UK.
I've been told by the gallery that the show has had positive feedback from the public & the numbers through the gallery door are huge.

Next stop is FotoFreo in Fremantle Western Australia, the show opens on Friday the 16th of March & runs until the 13th of May 2012.

I just returned from a 6 week trip around the world where I got to meet some amazing people to speak about my exhibition. I was in Arles in the South of France where I spent a week at the Les Rencontres d'Arles Photo Festival, to say the very least it was amazing. Martin Parr looked after my girlfriend & I & we got to meet some very special people including Bob Hewitt who is the Festival Director of FotoFreo, which is the largest photo festival in Australia www.fotofreo.com Bob liked Richard & Famous so much that he asked me if I would like to include it in next years FotoFreo which of course I accepted, therefore in March 2012 the Richard & Famous exhibition will be at FotoFreo in Perth Australia, ironically I had to travel from Sydney to the South of France for the exhibition to get to Perth next year!

The next stop was Liverpool where I met Karen & Patrick from Open Eye Gallery www.openeye.org.uk
Martin Parr is curating my exhibition there next January so Martin also joined us & we along with my girlfriend took a tour of the gallery which was still under construction, I have to say it looks fantastic, its right on the waters edge not too far from the Tate.

Martin Parr has been great to me, he calls me "The funniest Australian that he has ever met" I'll take that as a compliment!

After The UK we left for NY & LA where I had a few more meetings with some more galleries, things are looking good for next year as galleries from all around the world are showing interest in the exhibition.
